Bevan Rees' professional career in architecture, urban design and planning spans over thirty years.

In this time he has received professional recognition through architectural awards from the Royal Australian Institute of Architects in all award categories, and from the Housing Industry Association (Tasmania) including their Greensmart Building Site Impact Award.

Bevan operates as a sole practitioner, assisted by Yvonne Rees-Pagh in presentation and interior design.

He offers a personalised service. The practice philosophy can be simply stated … quality and enjoyment, good architecture and an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all.

He professes not to be a slave to any particular style, striving to respond to place, context, client aspirations and desires, and increasingly conditioned by concerns regarding environmental sustainability.

In recent years his practice has focussed on individual housing, historic heritage conservation and recycling, health and education, and expert evidence in planning mediation and appeals.
