DtB Architects was established by Chris Dunkerley and Helga ten Brummelaar in 1996 and has grown steadily since then. 

The firm currently has five full time and two part time employees. 

DtB Architects offers its clients a wide range of traditional architectural services over a similarly broad range of project types.

 Fields in which the practice has been active include:

• sport and recreational facilities
• tertiary education facilities
• domestic residential work
• thermal performance assessments under the National House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS)
• commercial fitout work

Projects completed include several new buildings and a large number of refurbishments, alterations and additions.

The office is computer based and produces the majority of its documentation in CAD formats.
