Michal Tomaszewski commenced our Practice in Sydney in 1968.

Over the years we have developed skill and experience in a wide variety of building types.

We are a small practice geared to handle a variety of projects.

Recent projects include the design for the Lord Howe Island Museum as well as domestic and medium density residential designs in Sydney and country New South Wales.

As a member of the Architects Without Frontiers organization we have also designed an Orphanage in Kabul, and are about to start design work for a small school in the mountains of Afghanistan.

The office handles a range of projects from feasibility studies through to Development and Building Applications; Building Contract Documentation and Administration.

To protect our clients, the company carries comprehensive professional indemnity and public liability insurances.

Michal Tomaszewski was born in Poland and educated at Sydney's St. Ignatius College.

He studied Architecture at the University of NSW and Town & Country Planning at the University of Sydney.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and an architect registered (#2287) in NSW.

As a young architect he has worked with Felix Candela in Mexico City; in New York and in Sir Basil Spence's private studio in London - working on the development of designs for the Knightsbridge Barracks in London.

He was also privileged to have worked for Jorn Utzon on the development of the Sydney Opera House.

In recent years he attended Congresses of the International Union of Architects in Barcelona and Istanbul and in 1999 conducted a study of Andean architecture of the Inca & pre Inca periods in Peru and Bolivia with special emphasis on Sacred Architecture.

Our work has attracted some attention and over the years have won some awards.

Our Lord Howe Island Museum has been entered in the RAIA national excellence in Design awards.
