Peter Tsitas and Associates was established in 1973 to provide architectural and town planning services to the development industry and government departments.

The firm provides a comprehensive range of architectural and town planning services to private clients and developers, as well as to government departments such as the Department of Human Services, and has been doing so for over 30 years.

In the 1970’s the major focus of the firm was in facilitating approval including the design and preparation of master plans for large residential and commercial areas.

These included the highly successful comprehensive development of Taylors Lakes.

In the 80’s and 90’s the firm’s activities were expanded and diversified and included a number of housing projects for the Department of Human Services; medium density housing projects for private clients, projects for the retirement industry and a large residential subdivision in Lynbrook.

Currently, the firm is engaged in the upgrading of the high-rise public housing buildings for the Department of Human Services.

This work includes the recent successful completion of a number of lift foyers and upper level walkways in Fitzroy, Collingwood and Richmond, and upgrading of housing estates in Werribee, and Springvale.

The firm has wide experience in residential and commercial architecture as well as town planning.

The size of projects undertaken by the firm range from infill dwellings in subdivided inner -city blocks to large urban planning developments.

Through this we have learned the value of comprehensive communication skills between client, developer and government bodies, as well as analysis and solving of problems and the right advice for clients.

Our design is contemporary and progressive and we are well equipped to deal with unique design issues. in addition to this, our visual presentation is always distinctive, distinguished and communicative.

Peter Tsitas, the founder of the firm has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Melbourne University and a Master degree in Town Planning from London University.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and a member of the Planning Institute Australia.
